To show how small and irrelevant we are, just look at this diagram, to see how far a human beings’ device will travel, in a million years, in the Milky Way.

برای اینکه ببینیم چقدر کوچک و ناچیز هستیم، فقط کافیه به این نمودار نگاه کنیم تا ببینیم وسیله‌ای که توسط انسان ساخته شده، در یک میلیون سال، در کهکشان راه شیری چقدر سفر خواهد کرد.

To give you an idea of how big the Milky Way is, just think how far light can travel in a year. As a reminder, it takes 8 mins and 20 seconds, for light to travel from the Sun to Earth. The same light would take 87 years to go from one end to the other end of our Galaxy. Now look at the sky and see how many galaxies there are in the sky at night. You should be able to see about half a dozen. So we are tiny.

برای اینکه بفهمید کهکشان راه شیری چقدر بزرگه، فقط به این فکر کنید که نور در یک سال چقدر می‌تونه سفر کنه. برای یادآوری، 8 دقیقه و 20 ثانیه طول می‌کشه تا نور از خورشید به زمین برسه. همین نور 87 سال طول می‌کشه تا از یک سر کهکشان ما به سر دیگه اون بره. حالا به آسمون نگاه کنید و ببینید که شب‌ها چند کهکشان در آسمان وجود داره. شما باید بتونید حدود نیم دوجین از اونا رو ببینید. پس ما خیلی ناچیز هستیم.

As I have said before, humans are in the middle of the sizes of objects in the universe. The biggest object is about 10 to the power of 10 and the smallest is about 10 to the power of minus 10. So you have within you worlds of atoms and molecules that make you look as big as a Galaxy to them.

Thought is faster than light. That is why you can think of something that someone had thought of in some other time. That is why you are drawn to some idea from someone in the past or it maybe from someone in the future. In terms of space and time, thought has no dimension. I can think of something and it will be there for all the universe instantly. Obviously if you say something good, then it will resonate a lot. And that is the way of Good Thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deeds.
